Becoming Angel Photography
Seeing the World
Through My Eyes

A Little About Myself
Hello! I am Angelica, most call me Angel for short. Since I was a little girl I've always had an artistic side to me. At quite a young age I learned that I loved to take pictures. It started with single use cameras that we had to take to the Pharmacy to get developed and then onto polaroids and instant cameras. As I got older my family got a digital camera that took floppy discs as memory cards and lord I feel like my age is showing just saying that!
I remember when I was 15 my family went on a cross country road trip in my dads 18-wheeler on one of his work trips from South Florida to California and then to Ohio. I was the designated trip picture taker. That was the point that I realised I could capture the beauty of the world passing me by as well the experiences and emotions of myself and the people around me.
Sooner than later as technology advanced cells phones with cameras came out. Although my first phone was a little nokia without a camera, which I was super bummed about, the first chance I got I saved up money from babysitting and working shoveling horse maneuer and got my first phone with a camera. From there my love for photography grew more and more.
Getting older, having my own kids and with nieces and nephews being born, I wanted nothing more than to dive head first into the thick of it teaching myself and learning about photography. I was able to buy myself a used, semi-professional camera for a great price on Craigslist by the time my 3rd little one was born. I taught myself through endless hours of tutorials and practicing how to use it. Now a fulltime wife and mom of 4 little people, taking a leap of faith in having relocated my family from South Florida to North Carolina, It is finally time for my light to shine!
There is always more room to learn and grow, I am not done by a long shot, this is my little story of how my passion came to be. I hope you will entrust me to capture the beauty of your life experiences and all the special little happy, and sometimes sad, moments to come.
Thank you for taking the time and consideration!
